What's Your Narrative to Your Community? How Do They Know You?
Presented by Kelly L Baltzell, MA
People make decisions about your business without ever stepping foot into your lobby. What are you telling your pet owners about you? What is your narrative or story? Narratives are woven into our daily lives. We personally craft and tell narratives all the time to our friends and family members. As a business, narratives are generated whether you have your hand on the “helm” or not. How the world thinks, perceives, and engages with the hospital can depend greatly on its narrative, which is not the same as the mission statement. Come to this lecture to learn:
- Some historical narratives that still live with us today and influence how we utilize and purchase certain items.
- How we consume narratives ourselves to use as a reflection on how the messaging should be about our own practice.
- How to craft and nurture a narrative that can influence pet owners positively about the hospital.
- 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. What Are The MVMA Common Questions? Presented by MVMA
- 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Cocktails and networking with other industry professionals
Speakers
Our speakers are experts in the industry and you'll be qualified for Continuing Education Credits (CE) for each session.
